BECAUSE WAITING IS THE HARDEST PART

PROCESSING TIMES

Our processing times typically range from 2 to 10 business days, depending on how busy we are (translation: how many of you fell in love with new binders at the same time). During special sales or big launches, please allow an additional 3 to 5 business days. Your patience truly makes the coffee-fueled packing marathons possible.

For the most up-to-date info, current processing times are always posted at the top of our website.

Pro tip: check there before emailing us, because it’s usually the quickest way to know where we’re at.

PROCESSING VS. SHIPPING

Processing time is the period we spend carefully packing your order and making sure it’s perfect. Shipping time is how long your package spends traveling to you once it leaves our hands. They’re two totally separate clocks, and unfortunately, we don’t currently offer any options to purchase faster processing (no VIP checkout lane just yet).

DELIVERY

Once your shipping label is printed, you’ll receive tracking information so you can refresh it as often as you’d like (no judgment, we do it too). It may take an additional 2 business days to see movement on your tracking.

Delivery times depend on the postal service’s mood that week.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING RATES (UNITED STATES)

All delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. They don’t include our processing time. In other words, we’ll pack your order as quickly as promised, but once it’s in the hands of the carrier, the clock is theirs to run. We primarily ship with USPS (unless otherwise specified), and delivery to the contiguous 48 states typically takes 1–7 business days.  If another carrier is requested, keep in mind it may come with a higher shipping rate. Shipping is flat rate:

$4.95 for small packages

$6.95 for medium packages

$9.95 for large packages

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING RATES

We ship internationally via USPS, FedEx, and UPS, although our standard international option is usually FedEx for reliability. All delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Transit time depends on weight, location, and just how far your package has to travel. They don’t include our processing time. In other words, we’ll pack your order as quickly as promised, but once it’s in the hands of the carrier, the clock is theirs to run.​ 

Shipping is flat rate:

$18.99 for small packages

$22.99 for medium packages

$28.99 for large packages

CUSTOMS DUTIES + TAXES

For international orders, customers are responsible for any customs fees, duties, or taxes that may apply. We have no way of knowing what these charges will be so make sure to do your research before ordering. Please keep an eye on your tracking, if these charges aren’t paid on time, your package may take a round-trip back to us.

LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES

Once your order leaves our facility, responsibility shifts to you and the courier. The Aesthetic Dollar isn’t liable for late deliveries, undeliverable addresses, rejected packages, or lost-in-transit adventures. If a package is returned to sender, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. Refuse those charges, and the carrier may abandon the package (tragic, we know).

INSURANCE + CLAIMS

We also offer an optional insurance add-on called Worry-Free Delivery (powered by a third-party called Seel). If anything happens to your package, you’ll need to file the claim directly through them using the email they sent after checkout. Can’t find the email? Reach out and we’ll help point you in the right direction.

 

For domestic orders, insurance through the shipping carrier is included (USPS up to $100), and customers are responsible for filing any claims directly with them. Claims must be submitted within 30 days of shipment.

FINAL SALE POLICY

We do not accept returns or exchanges. This ensures that every product you receive from The Aesthetic Dollar is brand new, unused, and we will never restock a returned item. Please double-check your order before placing it. Commitment is key (and we want you to love what you picked). If you’re unsure about a product, reach out before ordering and we’ll gladly answer any questions.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We get it—sometimes budgets (and minds) change. We accept cancellations within 24 hours of placing your order, as long as it hasn’t already shipped. Once an order is on its way, it’s considered final sale and cannot be canceled.

PRODUCT VARIATIONS

Due to the nature of our products, slight variations in print color, hole punching, or sizing may occur from batch to batch. These differences won’t affect usability or fit, they’re simply part of the handmade, small-batch charm.

NORMAL WEAR + TEAR

Over time, all vegan leather and paper-based products experience normal wear. Things like sunlight, oils from your hands, and environmental exposure can naturally affect ink and materials. Slight fading, warping, or changes in color saturation are considered normal aging, not defects. Think of it as your budget binder gaining a little character along the way.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

If your item becomes defective within 14 days of receipt, we’ll gladly exchange it for a new product of the exact same kind. Just contact us with your order details and photos of the defect, and we’ll get you taken care of.
